FBHVC has heard that theft of classic cars is growing, and the rumour is that this is to feed the banger racing fraternity's need for rear-wheel drive cars to race. We need to establish whether or not this really is the case so the secretary would welcome any information about classics that have been stolen in the last year where it is known (not just rumoured) that the car ended up on the banger race tracks, probably in the hands of a totally innocent driver who had acquired the car in good faith. If you have first hand experience of just such an event you can now provide a Theft Report. Though entirely voluntary these reports will us help in creating a data base of these incidents
